Buying
What do I get when I purchase an avatar?
When you purchase an avatar on VRSukins, you receive all available platform formats in a single download. This typically includes VRChat (.unitypackage), VRM, and other formats the creator has provided. One purchase works everywhere.
How do I download my purchased avatars?
After completing your purchase, go to your Library (Dashboard → My Library). All your purchased avatars will be listed there with download links for each platform format.
Can I get a refund?
Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience technical issues with a product, please contact the creator first. If unresolved, reach out to our support team.
Are the avatars Quest compatible?
Quest compatibility varies by product. Look for the "Quest Compatible" badge on product listings, or check the product details for polygon count and performance rank information.
Selling
How much does it cost to sell on VRSukins?
VRSukins charges a 10% platform fee on each sale. You keep 90% of every sale. Founding Creators enjoy 0% fees on their first 50 sales.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Once you complete seller onboarding and link your bank account, payouts happen automatically. Most sellers receive funds within 2-7 business days after a sale.
What file formats should I upload?
We recommend uploading as many formats as possible: .unitypackage for VRChat, .vrm for VRM-compatible apps, .fbx for universal use. The more formats you provide, the more platforms your buyers can use.
How does the translation feature work?
When you create a product listing, our system automatically translates your title and description between English and Japanese. This helps you reach buyers in both markets without manual translation.
Technical
What Unity version should I use for VRChat avatars?
VRChat currently requires Unity 2022.3.22f1. Make sure your avatar project uses this version for compatibility. You can specify the Unity version when listing your product.
What is VRM format?
VRM is a standardized 3D avatar format that works across many applications including VRoid Hub, VSeeFace, and other VRM-compatible platforms. It's great for VTubing and general 3D avatar use.
Can I upload password-protected files?
We recommend not password-protecting your files as it creates friction for buyers. Your files are securely stored and only accessible to verified purchasers.
Account
How do I become a Founding Creator?
The Founding Creator program is available to early sellers who join during our launch phase. Founding Creators get a special badge and 0% platform fees on their first 50 sales.
Can I be both a buyer and seller?
Yes! Your VRSukins account works for both buying and selling. You can browse and purchase avatars, and also list your own creations for sale.
How do I change my display name or avatar?
Go to Dashboard → Settings to update your profile information, display name, and profile picture.
